What is a cake:

 A cake is a sweet food made  from a mixture of flour, eggs, butter, baking powder, yeasts, sugar.etc that is baked in an  oven.

Cakes are made in various shape, size, and  are often decorated  for example with cream or icing.

So today we would be looking at some precautions of baking we must adhere to and how to bake different types of cakes like chocolate cakes, coconut cake and marble cake.

Precautions of baking we must adhere to

In baking cakes there are some precautions that must be adhered to strictly. They are as follows: 

BEATING: 

beat the sugar and butter together until the mixture is light in colour and creamy the longer they are beating the better the cake. Scrape the ideal of the basin with a palette knife at intervals to ensure that all the mixture is well beaten.

BAKING POWDER:

Baking powder must be kept in a tin with a tight-fitting lid. Always there well before each use.

CAKE PAN:

 grease cake pan before each use.

DRIED FRUIT: 

All dried fruits should be well cleanse before you. put on a sieve, sprinkles with flour and rub well .this we removed many of the stalks.

EGGS:

Break each egg into a cup and not straight into the mixture when one"doubtful' egg may spoil all the ingredients.


Never mix new Flour in the bin.it is best to use plain flour and had the necessary baking powder. Always see flour and baking powder before use, the more air it contains,the lighter the cake will be.


make sure you pre-heat your oven for 15 to 20 minutes before putting the cake.

How to bake a chocolate cake



Recipe:

Flour                       600g

Bitter                       600g

Sugar                       500g

Chocolate powder/cocoa powder  100g

Preservative           1teaspoon

Baking powder       2 teaspoon

Chocolate flavour    1 bottle

Eggs                            600g

Milk                          2 small sachets or 3 small sachets depending on size.

 Vanilla essence          2 tablespoon

½ seed nutmeg


Method for baking chocolate cake

Sieve already measured flour inside a bowl,

Add baking powder,

Add preservative,

Add powder milk,

Add cocoa powder to the sifted flour and Pat aside,

So let's call it our mixture one 


In a different neat bowl 

Cream butter and sugar until it light and fluffy,

Whisk egg until it's foaming and and to the cream butter and sugar misture,

Add black treacle's and brandy(preservative), and mix well.

So let's call it's mixture two.


Now add mixture one in mixture two and mix properly, then pour it into a neat greased baking pan.


Bake in a very mild and moderate temperature while using the oven (kitchen appliance) for three hours.

Then your yummy chocolate cake is ready to eat.


We move to the next cake to bake which is creamier, delicious, mouth watering and very healthy for the body, the coconut cake


How to bake coconut cake





Recipe

Flour     500g

Butter    500g

Dedicated coconut   1

Sugar  300g

Eggs 500g

Milk 2 small sachets

Baking powder 1 teaspoon

Coconut powder 1 teaspoon

Coconut flavour 2½cap

Preservative 1 teaspoon

Brandy

½ seed nutmeg


Method for Baking coconut cake

Sieve already measured flour into a neat bowl,

Add baking powder,

Add grated nutmeg,

Add powdered milk,

Add preservative,

So let's call it mixture one.


Then in another neat bowl 

cream sugar and butter till it's light-weight and downy.

Whish egg and add it but by bit to the creamed butter and sugar,

Add coconut flavour

Add brandy

Add desiccated coconut,

now let's call it mixture two.

Therefore add mixture one and mixture two together and mix well,


Grease your neat cake pan,

Pour the mixture into a prepared cake tin/pan and bake in a moderate oven for about 1½hours.




We move to the next cake to bake which is also yummy,healthy and very easy to bake.the marble cake


How to bake marble cake



Recipe

Flour 1kg

butter 1kg

Sugar 500kg

Eggs 15 

Baking powder 1 level spoon

Nutmeg ½ seed

Brandy ½ bottle

Banana flavour ½ bottle

Milk 2 sachets

Preservative 1 teaspoon

Browning 2 tablespoon

Green colouring

Pink colouring

Vanilla essence ½ bottle


Method for baking Marble cake

Sieve flour in a neat bowl,

Add preservative,

Add baking powder,

Add powdered milk,

Add grated nutmeg,mix all together.

Let's call it mixture one


In another neat bowl

Cream sugar and butter until fluffy and downy

Whisk egg and pour gradually into the mixture is cream sugar and butter,

Add vanilla essence and vanilla flavour,

Add brandy,

Srir altogether properly,

Let's call it our mixture two.

Now pour mixture one and mixture two together and mix properly.


Then divide the mixture into 5 equal parts inside different neat bowl saucer,

Add Browning to one part and stir well,

Add green colouring to another part and mix well,

Add pink colouring to another part and mix well,

Leave the remaining two parts plain without colour,

Grease your neat cake pan with butter,

Begin to lay the cake mixture alternatively in a cake tin i.e.plain colour as the first layer,

Follow by green colour,

Follow by another plain colour,

Follow by pink colour,

And finally the chocolate colour will be ontop.

Then place in oven to bake for 1½hour.

Your delicious Marble cake is ready to eat, dish with family, friends, neighbor and everyone.because there is love I'm sharing.
